Pierpaolo Perazzolli , man, 57, lives in Trentino, Northern East side of Italy and has been involved in developing the concept of communication through images. In 1976, with the creation of EDY, his central character, approached the world of humour. As EDYPerazz, showed his works at many important national and international Humor's exibition. He partecipated in several international competitions in Belgium, Cuba, Japan, Iran, Yugoslavia, Portugal, etc. and his work was included in the exhibitions catalogues. His drawings were shown in Iran ( Museum of Contemporary Art, Tehran), Portugal, (Museu Nacional da Imprensa, Oporto), Yugoslavia ( the cartoon biennial, Zagabria), in Belgium (Van Raemdonck Kartoenale 98') and in England (the great challenge 98, London). He took second place at the Creative Award international Grundig Fuerth. Prize of rapresentation at the International Exibition of Bordighera 98', certificate for merit at seventh eighth, tenth and eleventh edition of the Cartoon Contest of Taejon City (Korea). Grand prix (Humor) at the Courage Cartoon Contest 2000 Taipei, Taiwan, Mention of honor at the second edition of the PortoCartoon - Portugal. Certificate for merit at the first and third edition of the China LM Int. Cartoon Exhibition – China. Gold Medal of the International section - Art & Artists 14th Annual Rotary Cartoon Awards Coffs Harbour City's 2002 Australia. Award "Carlo Peroni" 2012 in the Exhibition Humorous "ART IX" (Seveso)."EDY and His mountains" was the title of his exhibition in Garniga terme (Trento). The following works have been favourably welcomed by friends and fans: "the world is a mortadella" (paperback), "The bundle; EDY and the nuclear" and the small book " Angels' quarter". He drew Mattarello Park emblem.
